My comic strip

 COMIC STRIP

Hello all my bloggers. Today I'm gong to be talking about a comic strip I made using Te Reo .

In Te Waka Ako we have been making some comic strips in Maori. My one was about a new girl coming to school and making a friend with unicat. Incase you don't know what a comic strip is, a comic strip is where you have to make your own little comic in a drawing folder. The comic strip has to have 9 or 6  boxes, 2 charecters that you will use in those same boxes and a background in each box. It was really hard to do this because it was my first attempt doing it using Maori language, I hope you will bear with me as I'm really excited to learn a new languge. While we were busy doing our comic strips we were busy googling Kupu and if you go to the bottom it will have kupu my name. And I found out what my name is in moari. My name is Ayo, which simply means Joy in Yoruba, a language spoken in Western Africa, Nigeria and translated in Maori Ayo is koa. Then I went back to my comic strip and had to finish it, it was so fun because I used a google translater, so it helped a bit given it was my first to do a comic strip in Moari. I hope you will all enjoy my blog post.

Blog you later my bloggers.
