Skateboarding.
Ouch! At first skateboarding was okay for me. I had lots of fun until it happened. Who else gets to do skateboarding instead of maths? Well I'll tell you who: Waikowhai primary school!! Today we did lots of skateboarding skills. Our teachers were Ben and Laurence. The challenging things were trying not to fall. Some of the skills we learned were: Crab walk. If you don't know what the crab walk is, the crab walk is where you put your one foot on the nose of the skateboard and your one foot on the tail.
Then the nose has to go up then down then it's the tails turn to go up and down. As your doing that you have to walk while you're still on the skateboard!! I know, right? Difficult. The other challenging thing is not crashing into each other because sometimes you feel like you have no control over the skateboard and that's why it's important to focus on where you're going because if you're not, you could get hurt or someone else could get hurt.
Tik Tak is where both your feet are facing one side of the skateboard and you have to lean back and front, And thats when it . . . happened. Dan, dan daaaan. I fell because I was holding against a pole and accidently slipped and scraped both my elbows and hit my cheek. Then I went to have a drink and I continued doing skateboarding. I still had lots of fun.
I hope you love my blog post and remember to keep trying.
